About us
Our Philosophy
At GO for a Dive, we believe that learning to dive should be personal, empowering, and built around your pace—not the constraints of a dive shop's schedule. Our philosophy is rooted in the idea that mastery in diving comes from confidence, not just certification. That’s why we focus exclusively on private and group instruction. Whether you’re new to the water or looking to advance your skills, we tailor each course to your experience, goals, and comfort level. Every diver is different—so we teach you, not the crowd.

We prioritize quality over quantity, safety over shortcuts, and education over just passing a checklist. With one-on-one coaching, flexible scheduling, and a calm, focused learning environment, we ensure you get more than just a card—you get the competence to explore the underwater world with confidence. Diving should never be rushed. It should be deliberate, thoughtful, and fun. That’s the GO for a Dive difference.
Meet Your Instructor

Goksi Ozturkeri
Owner and Lead Instructor
Hey, I’m Goksi, the lead instructor behind GO for a Dive. I’ve been diving since 2010 and have trained with a range of agencies—GUE, PADI, TDI, and SSI. Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of students, from brand-new divers to those pushing into advanced and technical levels.
When I’m not teaching, I’m usually wreck diving off the Northeast coast, exploring caves in Florida and Mexico, or working on coral reef restoration projects in the Caribbean. I’m also a member of The Explorers Club, where I stay connected to a global network of ocean explorers and scientists.
I offer a range of courses including Open Water, Advanced, Rescue, Divemaster, and specialty training like Drysuit, Night, Deep, and Nitrox. Classes are small, hands-on, and safety-focused—while still making sure we have a great time.
If you’re looking for personalized training with real-world experience and a side of adventure, you’re in the right place.
